End of an Era…

Yesterday we heard of the sad news regarding the passing of Queen Elizabeth II. Thankfully she passed peacefully and with family in attendance. Being a nurse I understand death and the impact on others, unfortunately all too well. We know of the stages of grief and the impact it can have on those left behind. However for the Royal family to now do this so publicly would be additionally heartbreaking. As the country goes into a state of mourning, I encourage all those to remember the positives and huge impact the Queen has had on the nation – she was an inspirational woman and served the country for 70 years.

Now we are entering a new Era of the monarchy and how this will impact the future of our country, we must pray for the Royal family and also for the new monarchy to seek guidance from the Lord – for only He knows our path, our skills and talents and how we can serve Him as earthly servants.

“And everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die”. (John 11:26).

“For if we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord. So then, whether we live or whether we die, we are the Lord’s”. (Romans 14:8).

“And he said to him, “Truly, I say to you, today you will be with me in Paradise””. (Luke 23:43).

God bless you, love Zoe x.
